amazngj's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Random musings of man So, the topic of the day (yesterday) was apparently Liz and Hollie taking the first step towards friendship again. Everyone else mentioned it in their blogs/diarys/journals, so I thought I would add my hoo-rah as well. I have a hard time comprehending that Hollie hasn't met Sydney. I don't know why. I am reading the Harry Potter series again. I gave myself one week to read each book in anticipation of the sixth book's release on July 16th. I realized that the earlier books, being much thinner would take less time, and began reading faster, but here I am, two-thirds of the way through book five, and I have 13 days to go. It began as something I would read a chapter of while Liz did homework, or while Liz watched "Buffy" or while I used "the office." But I become obsessed, and read until three in the morning or something crazy like that. I find myself consciously hoping that Harry will not make the same mistakes that he made the last time I read the book. I have been told I am not allowed to discuss objects or people someone handles and how she acts while doing so. I am accepting applications for parents/role models. I have one applicant currently applying for mother, but other positions are available as well. I can't decide whether I prefer spoilers or surprises. I love finding out all of the news about twists and turns coming up in my favorite television shows, but I love when I don't find out ahead of time too. I also can't decide whether I would rather be popular or intimidating. Popular's harder, so I've been intimidating, and I kinda like it. I'm annoyed with the dog because my daughter learned the dog's name before she learned mine. Air conditioning is relative. It's amazng to notice how much like my wife my daughter becomes every day. To catch Sydney doing something my wife does is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. It started with the sneezes, but she watches Liz with so much love and admiration, it's incredible to see her evolution.
