amazngj's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stuffed Penguins I vaguely remember asking my grandfather once why he had so many pipe cleaners in his office. He told me that it was to keep the tigers away. I told him that we were in New Jersey, there wern't any tigers for miles. He said, "It works." This is the story that came to mind when I discussed with Linda the prospect of putting a stuffed penguin in my car to avoid car accidents. This prospect has stuck in my mind and I have been debating what I would like in my car that I can use as a fixation point for my new superstition. I soon will no longer blame numerology, but the anti-presence of my new obsession for all past car accidents.
